Does Age Really Matter?
Certain people vary age upon having a commitment to any love relationship. The question is, “Does age really matter”? Why does people made it a deal in choosing an appropriate individual for them to commit a relationship with?
With such questions, I don’t want to take side to any of the pros and cons underlying beneath such questions. Having the positive consideration of having an age gap in a relationship, we may say that age never matter as long as both of the mates find the compatibility with each other. This is merely one of the most important things to consider for a relationship to last long. If there is compatibility in a relationship, there would be no arguments for both of you will agree on the same thing. This certainly means that with compatibility, goes with it is harmonious companionship. Harmonious companionship leads to a harmonious and healthy relationship.
Furthermore, age would never matter as long as there is the existence of respect to one another. You should learn to understand your mate in a way she/he wanted to. In return, you will also be understood in the same way you wanted to, respect then exist. You should respect other person so that you will be respected also.
One of the most common cases in an age-gap relationship is the unjust consideration of sexual equality and age maturity. One of you might show explicit superiority in an exaggerated way which leads your mate feel that he/she is inferior with you only because you are superior in age while your mate is inferior to you (or vice-verse). Maturity occurs not basically through aging but merely through certain experience that one encounters though age is one of its factors. Being the one superior in age, you should not claim yourself to be more mature, thus more superior to your mate. You should learn to appreciate your mate in everything he/she do. Try to be fair thus, again, respect your mate.
Key Point to Remember:
Love is unconditional. It isn’t a choice. It simply happens; therefore the very best step to do is to go for it!
